The James Beard Foundation award 2009 was held on yesterday 4th May 2009 at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall.

The James Beard Foundation is the nation's most prestigious recognition program honoring professionals in the food and beverage industries. It was announced the Nominee for James Beard Foundation Awards 2009.

The James Beard Foundation Awards are the country’s most coveted honor for chefs; food and beverage professionals; broadcast media, journalists, and authors working on food; and restaurant architects and designers.

The James Beard Foundation award hosted by Cat Cora, Emeril Lagasse and Stanley Tucci. In this Awards 28 Categories were presented, including Restaurant and Chef, Book, Design and Graphics, and special achievement awards.
